STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGER

Our client is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with large enterprise customers, identify new opportunities, and achieve sales quotas. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert, understanding customer sectors and challenges to build complete solutions that enhance productivity and profitability. Prospecting senior decision makers to develop new business opportunities is a key aspect of this role. The Strategic Account Manager will also develop close and strategic relationships at all levels, translating customer business needs into revenue optimisation.


What you'll do:
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's growth by developing new business from existing and potential clients. You will create strategies aimed at securing market share and fostering maximum profitability. Your deep understanding of the customer's sector will enable you to provide comprehensive solutions that address their unique challenges. By prospecting senior decision-makers, you will uncover fresh avenues for business expansion. Your ability to forge strategic relationships will be instrumental in translating customer needs into revenue optimisation. Additionally, your commitment to providing excellent customer service will ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

* Responsible for the business development & maintaining good relationships with existing and potential large enterprise customers to identify new opportunities
* Achieve assigned sales quota in new business and upsell in existing large enterprise clients with winning strategy
* Act as a 'subject matter expert' to have strong understanding of the customers' sector and challenges to build a complete total solution to help customers overcome the challenges and achieve better productivity and profitability
* Prospect senior/C-Level decision makers to develop new business opportunities
* Develop close and strategic relationships with the customers at all levels, with the aim of translating customers’ business needs into revenue optimisation
* Provide excellent customer service through responding to customer’s enquiry, scheduling appointments, and tender participation


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Strategic Account Manager position brings a wealth of account management or corporate sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the field. Your background in selling office solutions, IT solutions, or services to large enterprise segments will be highly beneficial. A preference will be given to those with experience in the business software industry or a related field. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to connect and engage with individuals at all levels within an organisation. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective product or service solutions.

* Minimum of 2 years of account management or corporate sales experience
* Experience in selling office solutions/ IT solutions/ services in large enterprise segment
* Preferably in the business software industry or related field will be adding advantage
* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with people at all levels within an organisation
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective product or service solutions
