SAP MM WMS Consultant

An exciting SAP MM WMS Consultant job opportunity has just become available at one of the leading convenience store companies based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the SAP MM WMS Consultant Role:
In this role, you will be the subject-matter expert of SAP MM WMS and interact with business users on any SAP application functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with business users at all levels of the organisation
• Conduct GAP analysis between the AS-IS and TO-BE business process
• Design and document TO-BE business process aligned to standard SAP application functionalities
• Design and document functional application configurations
• Design and document functional enhancement to SAP, inclusive of screens, interfaces, reports
• Interact with development resources to ensure compliance with functional designs
• Prepare test scenarios and scripts to be used through the application testing cycle
• Support application, integration and user acceptance testing
• Support incident management and change requests

To succeed in this role, you are required to have experience with SAP MM and WMS modules.

Key Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, professional degree or master's degree in engineering (computer/telecommunication), computer science/information technology or equivalent
• Between three to eight years of SAP work experience, with exposure to the following: SAP merchandise management (MM), warehouse management (WM) and IS retail
• Experience in purchase pricing (Schemer and Conditions), sales pricing (Pricing Procedures and Conditions) and Promotions is essential
• One full life cycle project experience in the role of a functional MM consultant
• Three or more years’ experience in SAP MM (procurement) modules in purchasing, materials and vendor master, consumption-based planning and inventory management and control and SAP WMS module in distribution centre configuration and implementation of put-away strategy and removal strategy with SAP warehouse management
• Ability to configure SAP WMS structure
• Ability to configure SAP WMS mobile application (ITS mobile)
• Ability to work with SAP WMS and pick to light/put to light
• Good knowledge of SAP integration with external warehouses and other applications
• Results-oriented and ability to support team objectives and goals
• Retail experience is beneficial
• Good English communication skills, written and verbal, is beneficial
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills is essential
