• Oversee the complete lifecycle of core banking projects, ensuring each initiative is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders and technology partners to gather requirements, define robust solutions, and plan effective implementations that meet organisational needs.
• Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support for core banking systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams by managing dependencies, facilitating communication, and mitigating risks to guarantee timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and ongoing support to both project teams and technical staff to foster professional growth and successful project execution.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including implementation plans, status reports, and progress updates for senior management review.
• Support system cutovers by monitoring post-implementation performance and ensuring smooth operations during critical transitions.
• Champion best practices in project management by utilising tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office to streamline processes and enhance transparency.
• Engage proactively with stakeholders at all levels to address concerns, resolve issues promptly, and maintain strong collaborative relationships throughout each project phase.

• Proven track record managing core banking projects specifically within domains such as Customer management systems, Deposits platforms or Channel integrations.
• Comprehensive understanding of core banking systems architecture including mainframe or AS400 environments or similar technology platforms used in financial institutions.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes as well as Agile methodologies for iterative project delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional project management skills including stakeholder engagement, resource coordination and multi-initiative oversight.
• Excellent analytical abilities paired with strong problem-solving skills enabling you to navigate complex challenges efficiently.
• Advanced documentation capabilities ensuring clarity in reporting progress updates and maintaining accurate records throughout each project phase.
