What you'll do:

As an IT Delivery Manager – Customer and Credit Systems based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be at the heart of driving successful project outcomes by coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.   • Oversee the technical delivery of business solutions for Customer and Credit Origination systems, including managing new capabilities, system enhancements, and upgrades from inception through deployment.
  • Plan, monitor, and manage all technical deliverables to ensure project requirements are met within allocated budgets and timelines, while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate closely with application teams to manage technical dependencies, ensuring seamless integration of solutions across platforms.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks or issues that may impact technical delivery by proactively engaging stakeholders and implementing effective solutions.
  • Provide timely status updates on technical progress, challenges encountered, and resolutions achieved to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Partner with System Analysts, Business Solution Specialists, Architects, and Development Managers to translate functional requirements into comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Ensure solution designs adhere strictly to enterprise architecture guidelines as well as security and compliance standards set by the organisation.
  • Oversee all testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance/load testing, and security testing to guarantee system reliability.
  • Manage detailed technical implementation plans and coordinate cutover activities to ensure smooth production deployments along with post-implementation support.
  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with organisational templates, standards, and audit requirements to facilitate transparency and accountability.

What you bring:

To excel as an IT Delivery Manager – Customer and Credit Systems in Kuala Lumpur, you will bring a wealth of experience gained from leading IT projects within multinational or regional organisations. Your academic background in computer science or engineering forms a solid foundation for understanding complex systems. Having managed delivery teams for several years demonstrates your capacity for nurturing talent through supportive leadership.   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline is required; additional professional or technical qualifications are highly regarded.
  • More than 10 years’ experience delivering IT capabilities for multinational or regional organisations demonstrates your dependability in complex environments.
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing IT delivery teams showcases your ability to nurture talent within collaborative networks.
  • Extensive background in systems development—including coding, creating functional/technical specifications, and conducting testing—totalling at least 8 years ensures you bring deep knowledge to the team.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles as well as project management methodologies enables you to guide projects effectively from start to finish.
  • Experience within the banking industry is preferred; familiarity with Wealth Management systems adds further value.
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL and Java is considered advantageous but not mandatory for success in this role.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale applications or system implementations highlights your reliability under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with analytical thinking equip you to address challenges empathetically while supporting others.
  • Strong communication skills enable you to connect with both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders in an inclusive manner.
