  • Facilitate productive meetings with cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements, define project scope, and align objectives with broader organisational goals.
  • Apply advanced business process analysis frameworks to identify areas for improvement and translate findings into actionable project requirements that drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels to champion optimisation initiatives for financial accounting systems and support the introduction or enhancement of new business applications.
  • Utilise your proficiency in SQL and Excel to analyse complex data sets, develop logical data models, and generate insightful reports that inform resource allocation decisions.
  • Leverage BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau to create dashboards and visualisations that provide timely, accurate information for management reporting purposes.
  • Support the transition from third-party systems to internally developed solutions by contributing technical expertise and ensuring high standards of quality and reliability are maintained throughout the process.
  • Champion best practices in project management by proactively identifying risks, monitoring progress against milestones, and adapting plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Approximately 7 years of experience as a project analyst or similar role within IT or corporate planning functions, ideally supported by a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in optimising financial accounting systems or processes within large or multi-entity organisations through hands-on involvement in project management or application enhancements.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis combined with strong skills in Microsoft Excel for modelling and reporting purposes that support decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with leading BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau for creating dashboards and visual analytics tailored to management needs within complex organisational structures.
  • Proven ability to draw logical data models that underpin robust system design and facilitate seamless integration between applications across different business domains.
  • Exceptional communication skills in spoken and written English with the capacity to engage effectively with diverse teams across different geographies while building trust among colleagues.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting principles as well as budgeting, forecasting, consolidation processes or managerial accounting concepts is highly desirable for success in this role.
  • Experience working with CRM or SFA tools such as Salesforce or Pipedrive would be advantageous but not essential for candidates eager to expand their skillset.
  • Knowledge of VBA scripting for automation tasks represents an added benefit for those looking to contribute further technical expertise within the team.
