- Facilitate comprehensive sessions for gathering business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring all deliverables are produced accurately and within agreed timelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed documentation including as-is and to-be models by modelling process flows, defining data specifications, and mapping system integrations while considering the end-to-end customer journey.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to identify areas for development and co-create effective solutions that align with project objectives and organisational goals.
- Maintain and analyse requirement traceability matrices, prioritising requirements in partnership with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Work hand-in-hand with project managers and technology teams to assess risks, define clear project scopes, and develop robust high-level project plans that guide successful delivery.
- Conduct thorough quality reviews of project deliverables from various contributors to ensure standards are met before implementation.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, actively participate in testing activities, support user acceptance testing, and facilitate training or change management sessions for end users.
- Oversee post-implementation activities such as incident resolution, root cause analysis, lessons learned workshops, and ongoing stakeholder engagement to drive continuous improvement.
- Adapt delivery methodologies such as SCRUM or Waterfall based on specific project requirements to optimise outcomes.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business IT, Business Information Systems, IT Management, Computing, Business Administration or related fields is required for this position.
- At least six years’ experience working as a Business Analyst, System Analyst or Product Owner on system delivery or process improvement projects within the insurance sector is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in both Life Insurance and General Insurance domains with deep understanding of relevant products and operational processes is highly valued.
- Proven track record using Agile (SCRUM) as well as Waterfall methodologies for successful project delivery is necessary.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles including requirements analysis, solution design, system testing procedures, implementation strategies and stakeholder management best practices is expected.
- Advanced proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Visio (or similar process modelling software), JIRA and Confluence is important for effective documentation and collaboration.
- Strong analytical thinking abilities combined with excellent numeracy skills enable you to model processes accurately and solve problems efficiently.
- Experience participating in digital transformation initiatives or system/platform modernisation projects within insurance environments would be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders at all levels while fostering positive working relationships.
