Our client is seeking a highly skilled IT Program Manager to join their dynamic team. You will be instrumental in supporting project and program managers with the successful delivery of their projects, leading to business growth.
What you'll do:
As an IT Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing portfolios at an enterprise level. You will support project & program managers in delivering their projects/ programs, providing valuable insights for decision making on project prioritization, implementation and improvement recommendations. Your leadership will extend across the entire project lifecycle - from concept, feasibility & financing; through planning and eventually execution.
- Support project & program managers in delivering their projects/ programs
- Provide insights on project prioritization, implementation and improvement recommendation
- Lead portfolio management activities throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Track, analyze and provide insights on projects’ performance
- Understand the scope and intent of program initiatives for better understanding and analysis on potential risks and issues
- Develop, review and present status reports required for stakeholders’ update
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the IT Program Manager position comes with at least 8 years of working experience in IT PMO. You possess strong management discipline with solid proficiency in project management methodologies. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enable you to establish and maintain strong relationships effectively.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree from a recognized University
- Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Master (PSM/ CSM) or Agile practitioner would be preferred
- At least 8 years of working experience in IT PMO with successful track record in delivering projects
- Strong management discipline with solid proficiency in project management methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detailed orientated
