Our client is seeking a highly skilled PMO Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role will report directly to the PMO Director and play a crucial part in the company's technology transformation at a regional level. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, program management, performance monitoring, stakeholder management, change management, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

As a PMO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our client's technology transformation journey. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all transformation initiatives are strategically aligned with the organisation's vision. You will establish robust governance processes, develop clear metrics and KPIs, and collaborate closely with various stakeholders. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing effective change management strategies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's future direction.

  • Ensure that transformation initiatives align with the organisation’s strategic vision.
  • Establish robust governance processes for clear oversight of all technology projects.
  • Establish clear metrics and KPIs to measure progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Transformation Lead, Workstream and Project Manager to track project progress.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization.

What you bring:

The ideal PMO Manager will bring a wealth of experience in program management, preferably within a transformation management environment. You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A PMP certification would be advantageous. Your proficiency in data analysis and experience using PPM Tools / Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tools will be critical for this role. Above all, your excellent interpersonal and communication abilities will enable you to engage effectively with mid to senior-level stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis.
  • Experience using PPM Tools / Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tools.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in program management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
