Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a focus on Freight and Logistics - Cargowise, WMS. This role is an exciting opportunity to work within the Digital & Technology department of a leading global organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, contributing, developing, and analysing innovative ideas, supporting business cases for initiatives, and obtaining project sign-off.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Business Analyst focusing on Freight and Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in understanding organisational objectives to coordinate and complete business analysis activities. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be utilised as you elicit, document, and manage stakeholder business requirements throughout the engagement process. You will also support the development of training material, participate in implementation processes, provide post-implementation support, and potentially develop project plans. This role requires strong project management skills.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and synthesise information
- Manage the development of business requirements using analysis and modelling tools
- Support the Product Owner in estimating test effort, prioritisation and program increment planning
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery cycle
- Work closely with product managers/owners, designers, and other stakeholders
- Manage the interaction between the business and IT Teams / external vendors to ensure effective delivery of system solutions
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Business Analyst role will bring extensive knowledge of business analysis activities. You are highly skilled in elicitation techniques and experienced in requirements gathering. Your background includes working across all levels of an organisation and engaging a diverse range of stakeholders including customers. Your excellent facilitation skills have been honed through running workshops. You understand business case development and benefits realisation. Your experience with techniques such as use case analysis, process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business requirements will be invaluable.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline
- Knowledge in Freight and logistics business processes and systems like Cargowise, WMS e.g. Infor, TMS applications
- 4+ years’ experience working as a business analyst on mid to large System Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) projects
- Customer centric focus experience
- Experience in working in agile environments and multi-disciplinary teams
- Thorough understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures
