ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) for their Change Management department. This role is pivotal in facilitating organisational transitions, including projects in the Integration Portfolio, Transformation, and Business As Usual (BAU). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the assessment of change needs, developing effective change management strategies, communicating changes effectively, managing resistance, and facilitating the adoption of new business processes, systems, technologies, job roles and organisation structures.


What you'll do:


As an AVP in Change Management, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating and facilitating organisational transitions. You will work closely with various business functions and project teams to manage the assessment on the need for change. Your responsibilities will include developing change management strategies for implementation, communicating changes effectively, managing resistance to change, and facilitating the adoption of new business processes. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders to monitor the execution of change activities and its progress.


* Manage and evaluate the need for change and analyse the potential impact on the organisation and stakeholders.
* Develop comprehensive Change Management Strategy and Plan to support adoption of changes required.
* Develop and manage Communication Plan and materials by working closely with key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather input, address concerns, and build support for the change.
* Provide input, requirements and support in the design of delivery of training programme.
* Ensure respective Standard Operating Procedures and Policies are updated before project goes live.
* Evaluate and manage user readiness for cutover.
* Monitor the effectiveness of change progress after project roll-out.


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this AVP Change Management role brings a wealth of experience in managing organisational transitions. With a minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field, you have a solid understanding of how people navigate through changes and the processes involved. Your strong verbal and written communication skills enable you to develop comprehensive change management strategies that support the adoption of necessary changes. Your ability to assess situations, analyse data, make informed decisions coupled with your strong stakeholder management skills makes you an ideal fit for this role.


* Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree from a recognised University preferably majoring in Business Administration, Organisation Development, Communication or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of working experience in related field is required.
* Solid understanding of how people go through a change and change processes.
* Good understanding of insurance business and management principles.
* Experience in large scale organisation change efforts.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to assess situation, analyse data, and take informed decisions.
* Strong stakeholder management and people influencing skills.
