About this IT Project Manager (Healthcare) Role:
The IT Project Manager ensures all stages of project management life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing to ensure compliance with the organisation project standards, methodology and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take projects from original concept through to final implementation
• Ensure that the project delivers the desired solution or outcome, remains within budget, and is delivered on time while achieving quality criteria
• Translate the defined initiatives or solutions into project plans, objectives, risk management and deliverables and subsequently deliver according to these
• Project communication and change management - formalise communication plan and update which includes:
• Manage periodic communication pack on timeline, delivery, and impact for users/management
• Communicate and coordinate with Steering committee, Governance committees and key stakeholders regarding the status of the projects, manage expectation and decision-making and governance and policies
• Identify project risks and issues with mitigation actions and issue resolutions and to escalate as necessary to higher management
• Act as a team leader and role model to the larger project team
• Ensure that the project team has access to the relevant project management tools
• Understand the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team

The successful IT Project Manager (Healthcare) is able to engage stakeholders to better understand their issues and needs for operational improvement be it from system enhancements or corporate new initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• Eight years' experience or more in IT Enterprise Software/Application Projects with five years in the role of IT Project Management
• Self-motivated and well-organised; able to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with all level of hospital management and staff, IT team and vendors
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, negotiation, conflict management, collaboration, organisational and critical thinking
• Ability to work with a wide group of stakeholders in a positive and collaborative manner
