About the Senior Project Manager (Insurance Industry) Role:
This position is responsible for translating business needs into solutions and project execution. You will be giving your input in managing the strategic IT roadmap and help drive process improvement between each functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive, manage, and optimise the delivery of business initiatives & projects including onboarding new partners, execution of tactical initiatives, major rate changes, product revamps, and system implementation and changes
• Play an active role in all phases of the project lifecycle: feasibility, planning, analysis and design, development, testing and UAT (if required), and training
• Manage the strategic IT roadmap
• Help drive and execute on projects and ensures business stakeholders are informed of progress and dependencies. Develop collaborative relationships with distribution and functional partners to support strategies and initiatives
• Support improvement to procedures/workflow between business units, functional areas and distribution partners to reduce redundancy, establish consistency, and generate executional speed
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, PIAM, local and global guidelines

To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in managing projects such as system implementations or integrations.

Key Requirements:

• At least seven years of work experience as a Project Manager in the insurance/financial industry
• Bachelor’s degree in appropriate fields or study or equivalent work experience
• Strong hands-on experience in managing teams and project delivery
• Good understanding of the financial and/or insurance industry and knowledgeable in insurance systems and operational processes
• Strong work relationships with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and networking
• Computer literate especially MS office and PowerPoint
