About the Business Analyst (Insurance Industry - One-Year Contract) Role:
You will be working closely with project and tech team in delivery of new policy admin system. You will also collaborate with respective domain stakeholders from other regions in gathering requirements and managing the delivery of the tech team to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with project and technology team to drive products and features delivery from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment
• Coordinating with GI business domain team to create and maintain a product backlog, and prioritising the backlog according to business value or ROI
• Prioritising features and tasks by taking into account business viability, feasibility, design and development costs
• Collaborating cross functionally with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of strategies within the lifecycle of existing products or new products
• Managing and driving the agile cadence including host prioritisation meetings, create user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog management, standup meetings, demo, and retrospective etc.
• Developing and maintaining appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future iterations
• Leading the planning of product release plans and setting the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
• Compiling user requirements on product configuration, documents, workflows, and reports
• Testing the tech delivery to ensure it meeting the expectation
• Managing defects identified in testing stage, investigate and triage to corresponding party for fixing
• Supporting the investigation and resolution of production issues

To succeed in this role, you will need to have project experience in the field of general/life insurance.

Key Requirements:

• Degree holder in business or information technology with experience in the insurance industry
• An experienced digital professional with three to five years in the digital product management industry in roles of product owner or business analyst
• Practical experience in running prioritisation meeting, specifying user requirements, and managing user acceptance testing
• Experienced in Agile methodology project delivery working with offshore team
• Good knowledge in insurance operations, systems, and workflow practices, including NB, policy administration, claims, compensation, and finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with being organised, structured and proactive
• Good communication skills, able to work with user departments and vendors
• Good problem-solving and strong analytical skills, able to clearly present results systematically and logically
• Innovative with good presentation and communication skills
• Good team player, self-initiative and able to work independently
