APAC Channel Partner Solutions Engineer (Pre-sales)

Our client is a global leader in networking solutions, delivering enterprise and carrier-grade software solutions. With over 20 years of experience, they offer network operating systems for carriers, service providers, and enterprises to achieve the disaggregated networking model.

They are currently seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Channel Partner Solutions Engineer to join their team. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur but offers remote working flexibility. You will work with partners in building a strong ecosystem.

What you'll do:

As a Solutions Engineer, your role will be inherently cross-functional. You will be the customer-facing technical lead, understanding customer requirements and presenting tailored solutions. You will be required to:

  • Work directly with customers, sales, product management, and internal engineering teams to deliver turnkey networking solutions.
  • Understand customer requirements and present suitable solutions.
  • Plan, scope, build and demonstrate solutions and conduct proof of concepts (PoC) to ensure technical wins with customers.
  • Take learnings from these engagements and drive our roadmap, shaping next-generation Access, 5G, Optical transport, Aggregation, Data Center, and Provider Edge solutions.
  • Collaborate with the product teams to define platform requirements and product plans.
  • Work proactively to resolve technical issues for customers.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Channel Partner Solutions Engineer role brings strong knowledge of L2/IP/MPLS networks along with at least 6+ years of experience in a pre-sales or customer-facing role. Other requirements include:

  • Experience with telecom system software architecture and approaches.
  • Strong communications and technical presentation skills.
  • Qualifications in Switching and Routing/Service Provider/Data Center.
