What you'll do:
As the Vice President of Product & Engineering, you will be at the helm of our client's engineering efforts. Your role will involve leading a globally distributed team of engineers, developing strategies that align with company objectives, and ensuring high availability of services. You will oversee all aspects of project management from planning to execution while fostering a culture of innovation within your team. Your technical expertise will be crucial in providing guidance to the Engineering Director and engineers. Furthermore, you will collaborate with various departments to align engineering initiatives with overall business goals. Your responsibilities also include managing recruitment, onboarding, and professional development processes for the engineering staff.
- Lead and manage a distributed team of engineers across global locations
- Develop and implement the engineering strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives
- Ensure 4 9s availability of services
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within time and budget constraints
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering teams
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Engineering Director and engineers
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for engineering initiatives
