An exciting Business Continuity Manager job has just become available at one of our long-term financial services clients based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Business Continuity Manager Role:
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, you are responsible for the development, maintenance, review, and testing of business continuity plans, as well as offering advice on risks and threats affecting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the annual administration of the BCM roadmap, conducting Threat Assessments, Business Impact Analyses, Business Continuity Plans, DR Drills, Call Tree tests, TableTop exercises, BCM Awareness e-Learning, and Vendor Outsourcing Assessments
• Coordinate Business Continuity Coordinator meetings and collaborate with IT leadership and other stakeholders to align disaster recovery capabilities with RTO and RPO
• Ensure the testing of recovery documentation procedures and working closely with IT management and business units to identify and plan mitigation efforts and business continuity recovery strategies
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, risk identification, and damage assessment management. It also involves coordinating testing schedules, objectives, exercises, and post-mortem reviews with the IT DR coordinator, as well as attending meetings with outsource providers and conducting monthly BCM concept briefings for new employees

To succeed in this Business Continuity Manager role, you must have seven years of work experience in planning, Threat Assessment, Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plans, DR Drills, Call Tree test, TableTop exercise, BCM Awareness e-Learning, Vendor Outsourcing Assessment and Business Continuity meetings for the organisation.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of seven years of experience in IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management
• Able to identify organisational risks and vulnerabilities, develop resilience strategies, and recovery plans
• Familiar with ITIL, along with excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong project management abilities, multitasking skills, and the capacity to exercise independent judgement
