Head of IT Services

About the Head of IT Services Role:
In this business critical role, you will be accountable for the ongoing leadership of end to end IT services and delivery of mission-critical technology services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective and timely delivery of IT services to support business operations
• Take the lead in managing an information technology subject matter experts team to ensure effective and timely service delivery across the business unit according to service levels agreed
• Build a high performance IT Ops team, train the team members and provide effective leadership
• Ensure fulfilment of service level agreements with respect to availability, performance and capacity for both in-source and out-source systems
• Identify and recommend IT infrastructure solutions that will enhance processes and improve on performance levels

To succeed in this Head of IT Services job, you will need to have strong leadership and strong problem management, vendor management and leadership skills.

Key Requirements:

• More than 15 years' experience in planning and implementing several large scale and complex IT services, preferably in a regional and multinational setup
• Thorough understanding of IT infrastructure management functions, especially in the areas of IT operations, server management and network management
• Demonstrated track record of working within multi-department, multi-project and multi-vendor environment
• Result-driven individual who is highly committed and independent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to address technical issues in both technical and non-technical terms
