Programme Director, Audit Transformation & Digital Enablement
A leading financial institution seeks a Programme Director to lead audit transformation and digital enablement. With strong senior leadership backing, the role will drive modernisation of the audit function, embedding data analytics, automation, and AI capabilities. What you'll do:
The Programme Director will lead the end-to-end transformation of the audit function, driving operating model redesign, digital enablement, and capability uplift across the organisation.
• Lead the design and execution of the audit transformation programme, including operating model, governance frameworks, and service delivery model.
• Drive the integration of data analytics, automation, and AI capabilities into audit processes to enhance insight generation, efficiency, and risk coverage.
• Redesign audit methodologies, workflows, and risk assessment approaches to align with evolving regulatory expectations and leading practices.
• Establish and manage a complex, multi-workstream programme structure, ensuring delivery across timelines, budgets, and key milestones.
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders including the Chief Audit Executive, Board Audit Committee, and business leadership to align transformation objectives with organisational priorities.
• Lead vendor selection and implementation of audit technologies, analytics platforms, and digital tools.
• Drive change management and adoption, embedding new capabilities, tools, and ways of working across the audit function.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external consultants, to deliver programme objectives.

You are a transformation leader with a strong track record in delivering complex programmes within large organisations. You bring a combination of strategic thinking, digital fluency, and execution discipline, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive sustainable change.

Key Requirements:
• 15–20 years of experience in consulting, transformation, or programme management roles, with exposure to large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience in modernising audit, risk, or control functions, including operating model redesign and process transformation.
• Strong expertise in change management, with a demonstrated ability to drive adoption across complex, matrix organisations.
• Experience in implementing data analytics, digital platforms, and AI-enabled solutions within audit, risk, or governance environments.
• Track record in leading multi-workstream transformation programmes, including governance, delivery oversight, and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to engage and influence C-suite and Board-level stakeholders, with strong communication and advisory skills.
• Open to candidates from consulting firms, telecommunications, financial services, or other large, complex organisations with relevant transformation experience.
• Experience managing external vendors, technology partners, and consulting firms within programme delivery.
• Strong strategic and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate vision into execution.
