About the Data Governance Associate Director Role:
In this leadership role, your key responsibility will be to become a pivotal part of Group Data Governance by partnering with 18 local business units across Asia Pacific and Group functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support 18 local business units and Group functions (Operations, Investment, Human Resources, Finance and Compliance) in implementing the Group Data Governance Standard
• To maintain and enhance the metamodel for the Group-wide data dictionary on the data governance platform
• To maintain and enhance the Group-wide data dictionary, including Critical Data Element (CDE) definitions, data quality rules, reference data, data domains, data owners, database mapping, personal information labels, data classifications, metadata, business glossary and BU customisations, etc. on the data governance platform
• To onboard local business units, Group functions and additional databases onto the Group-wide data quality assessment tool and the Group data quality dashboard
• To develop, enhance and perform data quality assessments for CDEs using the data quality assessment tool for local business units and Group functions
• To develop, enhance and share methodology and frameworks for data quality assessments using the data quality assessment tool for the local business units and Group functions to adopt
• To develop, enhance and produce monthly Group data quality dashboards for local business units and Group functions using the data quality assessment tool and PowerBI
• To collect and consolidate data quality metrics from local business units and Group functions for producing monthly data quality dashboards using the data quality assessment tool and PowerBI
• To enhance and maintain data quality issue management (DQIM) on the Groupwide data governance platform to track data quality issues and drive data remediation
• To develop, enhance and produce monthly Group data quality issue management dashboards on the data governance platform

To succeed in this Data Governance Associate Director role, you must have 10 or more years of hands-on experience in independently delivering data governance and data quality using data governance platforms and data quality assessment tools based on business needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience of independently setting up, upgrading and managing data governance and data quality assessment software, preferably Data360 Govern and Analyse, and VM
• Proven experience of independently setting up and maintaining connections of data quality assessment and metadata scanning tools with various types of databases
• Proven experience of independently building and maintaining data dictionaries on data governance platforms, including CDE definitions, data quality rules, reference data, data domains, data owners, database mapping, personal information labels, data classifications, metadata and business glossary, etc.
• Proven experience of independently developing and performing data quality assessments using data quality assessment tools
• Proven experience of independently developing and producing regular data quality dashboards using data quality assessment tools and PowerBI/Tableau
• Python, Unix
