IT Governance Lead – Vice President

About the IT Governance Lead – Vice President Role:
Reporting to the Head of Technology, your main responsibility is to lead the IT Governance team in audit, compliance management and supervision of an IAM application administration team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage responses and ensure compliance to internal and external regulatory requirements and queries
• Lead a team of access management administrators and application ID to ensure user access reviews are conducted as required
• Attend to both internal and external auditors, regulators, risk and compliance officers
• Communicate with various teams for the collection, evaluation and assessing of information for audit submission.
• Perform quality control on all audit and compliance matters
• Record all evidence and supporting documents in a systematic order to be submitted to audits
• Communicate audit requests to auditees and manage any sessions for discussion and clarifications
• Close audit issues in a timely manner by working closely with the necessary business units and auditors
• Periodically conduct reviews on activities performed by various teams against the company’s standards, policies, and procedures
• Report the results of any non-compliance findings to the Head of Technology

A determined and highly motivated individual is the potential IT Governance Lead – Vice President. You will go the extra mile to make a difference in the organisation’s governance space while working closely with the IAM admin team.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the IT and financial services industry
• At least three years of experience in IT governance, risk, compliance or audit related
• Experience applying corporate policies and procedures to include cloud services
• Experience in evaluating cloud services against industry risk and control framework
• Knowledge of regulations such as RMiT, Bursa ITSS or SC’s managing cyber risk
• Knowledge in ISO27001, COBIT and CISA certifications is an advantage
• Must be able to take ownership and take matters through to a logical conclusion
• Detailed and organised in record keeping and documentation
• Able to prioritise, track and manage a large number of concurrent and divergent tasks and action items
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
