Senior Database Administrator

Whether you’re a seasoned expert or stepping into a senior role, you’ll play a key part in shaping how we manage and scale our data systems.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the guardian of our production databases, ensuring everything runs smoothly and securely:

• Maintain and support production databases with a focus on stability and high availability
• Perform essential DBA tasks: monitoring, backups, restorations, and patching
• Troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve operational issues
• Monitor performance and contribute to tuning, optimisation, and capacity planning
• Enforce database security, access controls, and compliance standards
• Identify and automate repetitive operational tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical systems

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Strong foundation in database administration and operational support
• Exposure to cloud-based database environments is a plus
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a small, fast-moving team
