Senior Windows & VMWare Engineer

As a Senior Windows & VMware Engineer, you will manage and maintain the enterprise Windows and VMware environments. This role involves ensuring optimal system performance, scalability, security, and availability across our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, as well as a strong understanding of virtualization technologies using VMWare and Windows server management.

What you'll do:

• Manage and support Windows Server and VMware environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform routine system monitoring and maintenance to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and manage security measures to safeguard data and systems.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with teams to implement and manage system upgrades, patches, and configurations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

What you bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any equivalent
• At least 5 years of hands on experience in VMware virtualization.
• Proven expertise in installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Windows and VMware environments.
• Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for enterprise systems.
• Experience in scripting & automation is an added advantage.
• Experience on setting up new environments is a strong advantage.
