APAC IT Delivery Manager (Infrastructure Background)

What you'll do:

As an APAC IT Delivery Manager – Infrastructure Focus based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for orchestrating the successful execution of complex IT projects across diverse markets within the APAC region. Your day-to-day activities will involve planning detailed project roadmaps, defining clear objectives and governance structures, coordinating multidisciplinary teams both internally and externally, and advising stakeholders on optimal technology solutions. You will facilitate workshops that foster agile methodologies and drive continuous improvement efforts while supporting incident management and change initiatives. Regular interaction with regional leaders, business managers, architects, local IT staff, vendors, and partners will be essential for maintaining stakeholder alignment. • Plan and oversee the delivery of infrastructure and workplace technology projects throughout the APAC region, ensuring all initiatives are executed according to established timelines and quality standards.
• Define project scope, objectives, budgets, schedules, and governance frameworks to ensure clarity and alignment among all stakeholders involved in each initiative.
• Coordinate internal technical teams as well as external vendors and partners to guarantee effective collaboration and timely completion of project milestones.
• Advise business stakeholders on suitable IT solutions by conducting thorough assessments and providing actionable recommendations tailored to organisational needs.
• Support incident management processes by facilitating prompt resolution of technical issues and maintaining clear communication channels between relevant parties.
• Drive change management activities by aligning stakeholders on new technologies or processes introduced during project delivery.
• Facilitate workshops that promote agile ways of working within project teams, encouraging continuous improvement and adaptability throughout the lifecycle of each initiative.
• Promote stakeholder alignment by regularly engaging with Domain Leads, Business Project Managers, IT Architects, Local IT teams, vendors, and partners across the region.
• Report directly to the Regional IT Manager or Director while providing functional leadership to project teams without direct line management responsibilities.
• Participate occasionally in global projects, broadening your exposure to international best practices.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Workplace Technology & Support Services as well as network infrastructure is necessary for this role.

• Project management certification such as PMI or PRINCE2 along with practical experience using Agile or hybrid methodologies is mandatory.
• Familiarity with ITIL v3 certification or equivalent experience is considered advantageous but not strictly required.
