Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Implementation & Technical Engineer to join their team. What you'll do:

As an Implementation & Technical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in deploying, integrating, supporting, and maintaining our client's Synapse® Enterprise Imaging and other healthcare informatics solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in managing technical deployments, handling infrastructure setups, resolving complex system issues, and working collaboratively with clients to ensure successful implementation. You will also engage directly with clients to gather technical requirements, customise systems based on site-specific needs, maintain accurate documentation of your work, and stay abreast of the latest trends in healthcare informatics.

  • Lead and support the installation and configuration of Synapse® Enterprise Imaging systems at customer sites.
  • Implement hardware infrastructure and software components, ensuring compatibility with HIS/RIS and other clinical systems.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 on-site and remote technical support during and post-deployment phases.
  • Engage directly with clients to gather technical requirements and translate them into effective configurations and solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, deployments, system changes, and support logs.
  • Stay up-to-date on DICOM/HL7 standards, cybersecurity best practices, and healthcare informatics trends.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Implementation & Technical Engineer role brings a strong background in healthcare IT systems along with hands-on experience in IT projects management. Your proficiency in server administration, storage solutions, VMware coupled with your familiarity with DICOM and HL7 standards will be key to your success. Excellent communication skills are essential as you'll be engaging directly with clients to gather technical requirements. Your strong problem-solving abilities will enable you to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively. A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently when needed will also be crucial in this role.

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years working experience in healthcare IT systems.
  • Strong understanding of PACS/RIS/VNA systems and clinical workflow integration.
  • Proficient in server administration, storage solutions, and VMware.
  • Familiarity with DICOM and HL7 standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
