As a Linux Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing our client's Microsoft Azure cloud environment. Your responsibilities will include everything from provisioning and configuration to performance monitoring and policy governance. You'll also have the opportunity to develop infrastructure as code using cloud native tooling, ensuring automated and consistent platform deployments. In addition to these technical tasks, you'll also provide invaluable support to your team members through training and guidance.

• Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance.
• Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
• Develop infrastructure as code leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments.
• Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address and resolve technical escalations.
• Provide training and support to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and guidance.

The ideal candidate for this Linux Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in Cloud Engineering or Support roles. You have a deep understanding of Public Cloud implementation, workload migration, and operational support in a multi-site enterprise environment. Your professional certifications (Azure, AWS, ITIL etc) attest to your expertise. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have excellent communication and collaboration skills. Your strong problem-solving and analytical skills will be key to your success in this role.

• 5+ years relevant experience in Cloud Engineering / Support role
• Excellent understanding and proven experience in Public Cloud implementation, workload migration and operational support in a multi-site enterprise environment
• Relevant professional certifications (Azure, AWS, ITIL etc)
• Practical experience of supporting Enterprise Public Cloud Services and automation
• Experience within a decentralized organization, preferably within the Group unit.
• Sound understanding of IT operating model design and best practices.
• Understanding of Infrastructure-As-Code configuration management tooling (at least one of the following – Terraform, Ansible, Chef/Puppet)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
