L2 Voice Support Engineer

As an L2 Voice Engineer, you will provide technical support for data network and voice systems, operating on a follow-the-sun model. Collaborating with global teams, you will ensure seamless support for customer service incidents and network management tasks.

What you'll do:

  • Respond to and resolve customer service incidents in collaboration with the L1 team.
  • Monitor proactive alerts and alarms, initiating diagnosis and rectification of service-related issues.
  • Manage core and edge devices, including routers, switches, and SIP-based platforms, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Perform network health checks, maintain documentation, and support customer requests for network health reports.
  • Collaborate on hardware replacements and initiate change controls for network service modifications.
  • Conduct upgrades and change control on production devices during weekends and perform emergency changes as needed.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Voice & Network Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge in telecommunications, specifically IP, SIP Voice, and DWDM platforms.
  • Experience in Cisco & Nokia products are an advantage, preferably CCNA
  • Experience in SIP technology (Must-have), L2/L3 routing, switching, and MPLS technology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to incident management.
