L3 Voice Engineer (SIP, Cisco)

As an L3 Voice Engineer, you will provide advanced technical support for data network and voice systems within the APAC time zone, collaborating with global teams to ensure seamless customer service. The role involves design, planning, and management of networking projects and infrastructure, as well as supporting the L2 team with escalated incidents.

What you'll do:

  • Provide technical support and resolve incidents as part of the L3 team.
  • Collaborate with L2 teams to offer advanced technical assistance and incident resolution.
  • Design, integrate, and manage data networking projects, including SIP, L2, L3, and optical core networks.
  • Govern and manage regional core infrastructure and international carrier networks.
  • Plan and execute core infrastructure upgrades in line with global standards.
  • Participate in network performance reviews and capacity strategy planning.
  • Support L2 teams with complex incident escalations and manage adherence to standards.
  • Provide technical guidance for new projects and report network updates to stakeholders.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Voice & Network Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge in telecommunications, specifically IP, SIP Voice, and DWDM platforms.
  • Experience in Cisco & Nokia products are an advantage, CCNP and above is a strong advantage
  • Experience in SIP technology (Must-have), L2/L3 routing, switching, and MPLS technology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to incident management.
