What you'll do:
As a Senior Linux Engineer, your role will be pivotal in providing technical support to various teams within the organisation. You will be responsible for managing ticketed query systems, maintaining an up-to-date database of queries and resolutions, as well as identifying and resolving technical issues. Your expertise in Linux-based infrastructure will be crucial in preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organisation's systems. Additionally, you will be expected to provide rotational 24x7 standby support.

- Assisting with systems integrations
- Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up-to-date
- Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
- Identifying and resolving technical issues

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
- Familiarity with scripting – Shell (Bash), PowerShell, Python
- Demonstrable experience as an application support engineer in a related field
- Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance
- Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience in setting up and maintaining open source tools such as ELK, Confluent KAFKA, Redis, Kubernetes
