Regional IT Engineer (Seremban)

Our client is looking for an experienced Regional IT Engineer based in Seremban, focusing on managing IT infrastructure and network systems across locations, including China. This role involves first-level infrastructure support, and collaboration with global IT teams to align with organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, experience in a manufacturing environment, the ability to manage stakeholders for IT Solutions and willing to travel to China.

What you'll do:

• Provide first-level support for hardware and software for both local and China sites.
• Serve as the primary IT contact for plant and administration tasks.
• Collaborate with Global IT for system implementation, management, and compliance.
• Manage relationships with external IT service providers.
• Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and license tracking.
• Install software and systems in cooperation with Global IT.
• Develop and maintain IT policies and systems to support strategic implementation.

What you bring:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Experience working with China stakeholders is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft products, Active Directory, Azure Cloud, virtualization, and backup & restoration.
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN/WLAN operations, networking, and routing concepts.
• Excellent English communication skills and willingness to travel to China.
