An exciting DevOps Engineer (Oracle PL/SQL) job has just become available at one of the long-term chemical manufacturing clients based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the DevOps Engineer (Oracle PL/SQL) Role:
In this senior role, you are responsible for executing access management application development, manage project tasks, conduct analysis and requirements gathering, design processes, define solutions, configure and test access management applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in regional projects focusing on solution design and implementation within SCRUM teams
• Execute application development, manage project tasks, conduct analysis and requirements gathering, design processes, define solutions, configure and test applications, and oversee application roll-outs
• Ensure quality assurance and knowledge documentation for future support and enhancements. Actively participating in transition activities and reporting on project status to Project Leads/Supervisors
• Be the POC for global global application project implementation, analysing and resolving escalated incidents, ensuring compliance with SLA terms and KPIs. Work with external vendors to address incidents
• Assess change requests and smaller work requests for global/regional applications, conducting pre-studies and user requirements analysis with external vendors or third-party service providers, and verifying timeline and effort estimates
• Oversee quality assurance testing in the designated environment, validate user feedback during UAT, collaborate with external vendors or third-party service providers for deployments, and provide documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams
• Participate in the continuous service improvement activities with all the relevant parties to further improve the quality of the global/regional access management applications service. Analyse the mitigation of the weaknesses for global/regional access management applications service

To succeed in this DevOps Engineer (Oracle PL/SQL) role, you must have at least five years of work experience in software development, maintenance and support functions.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, majoring in the area of information systems/computer science related field or equivalent experience. At least five years of work experience in software development, maintenance and support functions
• At least three years of work experience in application support preferably in a global environment
• Knowledgeable in agile application development (SCRUM, Kanban), testing/automated testing, CI/CD, ITIL practice
• Basic knowledge in DevOps, Oracle PL/SQL, Software One Identity, SAP Netweaver Basics, Microsoft Development Languages, RDBMS Database and Cloud technologies
