In this business critical job, you will play a major role in financial planning, IT road map, managing projects implementation, forecasting, and overseeing the IT department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set objectives and strategies for the IT department
• Lead, manage and provide guidance to the internal IT team
• Propose and implement suitable innovative technology to streamline all operations and optimise efficiency
• Design and customise technological systems and platforms
• Oversee IT related projects, network infrastructure and systems
• Analyse costs, value and risks of Information Technology
• Manage internal stakeholders and advise top management with clear suggestions and actions

To succeed in this Head of IT (Financial Institution, Investment) role, you must be equipped with good years of experience handling IT within financial services environment, especially within stockbroking companies.

Key Requirements:

• More than 10 years' experience within the IT environment
• Experience working in stockbroking or investment companies is a must
• Excellent background in IT infrastructure, network, security and application
• Experienced leading IT Teams and overseeing IT department
• Strong business strategic mindset to grow the business by enabling IT improvement
