An exciting Lead, Workplace Engineer job has just been made available at a banking company based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the Lead, Workplace Engineer Role: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of project outcomes, support global initiatives, and assessing changes for their impact on service levels. Manage relationships with outsourced providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and implementing quality control processes. You will also conduct regular reviews with global service providers, drive service improvement plans as part of ongoing efforts for continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the organisation's workplace technology portfolio, ensuring alignment with user needs, business objectives, and security/compliance requirements
Proactively identify opportunities for simplification and standardisation to drive continuous service improvement
Manage relationships with service providers, staying informed about product roadmaps, releases, and driving adoption through effective technology change and business stakeholder engagement
Collaborate with a diverse team of individuals, including business analysts, technical experts, and process owners, to address and resolve service level issues
Demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability in self-initiatives and decision-making, emphasising innovative thinking for service quality improvement within cost constraints and business direction
Exhibit excellent time management and organisational skills, with a proven ability to establish guidelines in these areas for others, while also applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in a managerial capacity
To succeed in this Lead, Workplace Engineer role, you must have 8 years of experience in VMware-Workspace-ONE, Microsoft-Intune, Windows-10-/-11-Core-Image, Microsoft-Endpoint-Configuration-Manager, VMware-Horizon, and Citrix-XenDesktop.
Key Requirements:
Over eight years' experience managing both in-sourced and out-sourced IT services with an exposure to global service management environment
Proven expertise in technology transformation, change, migration, as well as effective service delivery and operations management
In-depth understanding of technology, encompassing its features, capabilities, and best practices for organisational management
Solid technical and functional knowledge in Modern Workplace management, including VMware-Workspace-ONE, Microsoft-Intune, Windows-10-/-11-Core-Image, Microsoft-Endpoint-Configuration-Manager, VMware-Horizon and Citrix-XenDesktop
