An exciting Team Lead, System & Workplace Support job has just become available at one of the banking companies based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Team Lead, System & Workplace Support Role:
This is a senior role, and you are responsible for overseeing system and operations support, DRP implementation, IT administrative support, project implementations, and staff development of the IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of transformation, business, and system support team operations
• Coordinate project implementation and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring on-budget and on-time delivery
• Manage day-to-day project activities, acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders, and conduct pre and post-implementation reviews
• Supervise BAU IT Ops and system support, system deployment, report preparation, audits, and regulatory inquiries
• Collaborate with system vendors and Group IT, handling UAT and disaster recovery set-up
• Administer IT hardware and ensure compliance with IT requirements, policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Monitor and manage staff performance, development plans, discipline, and provide effective coaching and mentoring

To succeed in this Team Lead, System & Workplace Support role, you must have a minimum of five years of experience in back-end application support (e.g., banking applications, HR processes, online portals, etc.), end-user support and come from the banking industry.

Key Requirements:

• Five to seven years' experience in banking and investment industry, and experience in IT programming and application handling related positions
• Strong analytical skills, good communication skills, and strong leadership skills
• Project management experience
