About the Network Engineer (L1/L2) Role:
You will report to the Team Lead and be responsible for developing and maintaining an optimised, functional, and secure network for the organisation's Southeast Asia region. Collaborating with a team of network engineers, your focus will be on designing, optimising, and troubleshooting networks across the region to ensure seamless movement of end users and enhanced collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior network engineers to design and implement a seamless wireless connectivity experience for global end users
• Provide supervision and support to partners for deploying improvements to Campus networks in the Southeast Asia region
• Work with collaboration system administrators and application teams to optimise the network for collaboration and boost end-user productivity
• Design and deploy functional networks (Wired and Wireless LAN) for key campus office locations in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and other significant sites in Southeast Asia
• Troubleshoot and manage networks in Malaysia, including campus locations and data centres, with a focus on timely service restoration within SLA timeframes
• Participate in the on-call standby rotation to offer operational network support during off-business hours
• Actively participate in conference calls to troubleshoot and resolve high-severity, high-impact, and/or high-urgency network issues
• Monitor and administer network health check, performance, and integrity as part of day-to-day operations
• Create, enhance, and maintain technical documentation for the benefit of fellow network engineers

To excel in this Network Engineer (L1/L2) role, you must have at least five years of work experience in network engineering.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas:
  
  • WAN Networking (IPSEC VPN, Cisco SDWAN/SDA, and Cisco Meraki)
  • LAN Networking (Cisco ACI, DC Routing and Switching, OTV)
  • FW Team (Palo Alto, VMWare NSX, and Checkpoint vSEC)
  • F5 Team (iRules, LC, LTM, and GTM)
  • POS NAC Team (Ingenico)
• Minimum of five years' relevant technical work experience
• Experience in MNCs, financial institutions, and/or vendor environments (current or previous)
• Professional technical certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CCSE, CSE, PCNSE, etc.
• Knowledge of Wireshark, Tcpdump, and Cisco Datacenter products up to command level
• Expertise in Routing, Switching, and Wireless Network Engineering for both projects and operations
