About the IT Auditor (Banking) Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, you are responsible for formulating strategies, standards, and policies for IT internal audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of Internal Audit/Unit Head to formulate strategies, standards, and policies for IT internal audits
• Ensure regular preparation and updates of audit programmes
• Design comprehensive plans for audit engagements, defining scope and objectives for each individual audit
• Oversee and ensure the timely completion of audit engagements within the allocated budget
• Thoroughly review and assess finalised work, observations, and recommendations, ensuring accuracy, adequacy, and well-documented findings to facilitate the creation of audit reports

To succeed in this IT Auditor (Banking) role, you must have a minimum of eight years of experience in banking or related domains, with a minimum of five years dedicated to auditing. You are also to be a member in the IIA or the ISACA or the AICB or relevant equivalents.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualification in business, economics, accountancy, information technology, or a related field.
• Membership in The Institute of Internal Auditors/Information Systems Audit and Control Association/Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers or relevant equivalent
• Eight or more years of total work experience, with five or more years dedicated to auditing
• Proficient in administrative and management skills. Demonstrates proficient writing and communication skills. Exhibits meticulous attention to detail
• Upholds ethical principles with a strong commitment to maintaining independence and objectivity within the auditing profession
