IT Infra Ops Lead

About the IT Infra Ops Lead Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and implementing/upgrading the existing infrastructure devices/solutions. Continuously stay abreast with IT for improvement opportunities, innovation, and best practice initiatives to meet business needs and comply with relevant compliance/security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the in-house IT team on day-to-day incident support, infrastructure maintenance, change requests, performance remediations on systems/operations (on-premises and cloud). Acts as the final escalation point for outstanding incidents
• Responsible for upgrading/replacing end-of-life infrastructure/network devices/systems. Ensure that all frameworks are aligned with compliance/security control requirement
• Involved with project management/planning, vendor proposal/products evaluation, staff resource planning, RFP preparation, budgeting, and vendor management
• Collaborate with Business Users and vendor to design, propose, implement secure and reliable IT/System architectures. Lead the team in BCP and DR exercises
• Facilitate various internal/external audit engagements, provide remediation based on agreed recommendation and associated risk pertaining to Global Information Security Group, and/or any others local regulatory requirement
• Ensure Infrastructure related policies, procedure, standard and compliance controls remain current

To succeed in this IT Infra Ops Lead role, you must have at least five years' experience in helpdesk incident support, change management, data center management, capacity planning, user system access management, IT fixed asset management, and disaster recovery management.

Key Requirements:

• Experienced in helpdesk, change management, data centre management, capacity planning, users’ system access management, IT fixed asset management, disaster recovery management
• Hands-on configuring infrastructure/network related device/system and security control
• Experience in Vendor/Quotation Sourcing of IT Devices/Solution, IT Strategy/Budget Planning, establish/review IT policy/procedure
• Knowledgeable in Cloud/Mobile Technology, Database Management, Project Management and security control is a plus
