L3 AD Engineer

About the L3 AD Engineer Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, implementing, and designing services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, including directory and identity management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 application support, troubleshooting, and resolution for escalated production, application, or system issues. Conduct root cause analysis and problem management solutions for a corporate identity management environment
• Provide enterprise-level designs for Active Directory and Windows File Services for the organisation
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes. Review system and application logs. Verify completion of scheduled jobs
• Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines
• Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps
• Manage end-user satisfaction through effectively communication and managing expectations

To succeed in this L3 AD Engineer job, you must have experience in Microsoft Productivity suite, AD, ADFS, PKI, DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows server 2016/19 landscape.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), Certificate Authorities (CA), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name Systems (DNS), Distributed File Systems (DFS), and Windows Server Operating Systems
• Experience in Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies. Knowledgeable in monitoring best practices with Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM)
• Experience in infrastructure and server standards, networking fundamentals, Windows, Physical Server architecture, Virtualisation Technologies, and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies
• Develop, document, and enforce the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems
