Voice Engineer (L 2.5)

An exciting Voice Engineer (L 2.5) job opportunity has just become available at one of the leading IT services organisations based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Voice Engineer (L 2.5) Role:
In this role, you are responsible for providing tier two and above technical support for advanced server and cloud-based products provided to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as problem investigator and manager to assist an incident management team as per ITIL services model
• Assist Tier 1 Engineers, Service Partners and Technicians remotely on critical technical issues
• Work with Tier 3, DevOps and R&D to identify bugs, perform triage, and work towards ultimate resolution of the identified issues
• Work with customers, service partners and other personnel during the installation and troubleshooting of IT products and networks

To succeed in this role, you are required to be equipped with strong VoIP, SIP and preferably VMWare experience.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum four years' work experience with strong technical foundation in communications and voice recording
• Strong understanding of virtualisation technologies, networking and operating systems (Linux
  RedHat, Windows, etc.)
• Strong understanding of VoIP and SIP
• Experienced with voice technologies, support of Cloud environments, PBX and voice recording
