An exciting L2 Tech Support (Retail) job has just become available with one of our long-term retail clients based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the L2 Tech Support (Retail) Role:
In this role, you are responsible for providing L2 Tech Support for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report on technical support requests, resolutions, and system updates
- Respond to all computer and system issues reported by clients or employees
- Develop training materials, documentation and instructional guides on troubleshooting, system usage and computer hardware
- Resolve technical issues related to network disruptions, hardware problems, systems, and applications
- Fulfil requests, tasks, and other non-digitised tickets. Provide regular support and maintenance for servers and backend applications
- Solve all technical issues, including backend issues, new store/loyalty campaign setup, configuration, and SQL database data patching
- Handle and execute system change requests
To succeed in this L2 Tech Support (Retail) role, you must have experience in SQL DB, SQL/Python scripting, data integration (ETL) design standards and Azure cloud.
Key Requirements:
- Three or more years of IT support experience with MSSQL knowledge - basic scripting/coding
- Experience within a retail environment
- Able to manage several projects efficiently
- Experienced working with different operating systems and applications.
- Able to assist end-users through company help desk software in addition to other remote access desktop programmes
- Time-management skills and a fluent English speaker
