An exciting IT Infra Architect (Automotive) job has just become available at one of the top automotive companies based in Petaling Jaya.
About the IT Infra Architect (Automotive) Role:
In this role, you are responsible for designing cloud and on-prem solutions that support commercial organisations and enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide infrastructure and network deployments, upgrades, solution designs and roadmaps in various countries
- Maintain data centre and server room standards and design on a global scale
- Implement/introduce cloud services to the organisation
- Propose and evaluate technical solutions for the organisation
- Provide technical resolution and process improvement solutions for the organisation
- Participate in architecture review board discussions
To succeed in this IT Infra Architect role, you must have experience in developing technical infrastructure solutions in a commercial environment.
Key Requirements:
- Experienced delivering large projects across multiple countries. Demonstrated track record of designing cloud and on-prem solutions that support a commercial/enterprise sector
- Experienced in infrastructure strategy and roadmap development. Experienced in vendor, partner, and stakeholder management, i.e., managing the negotiation and administration of outsourcing agreements and delivery
- Experienced in networking, security, end-user computing, server, storage, backups and systems management technologies
- Experience in multi-cloud environments, e.g., Azure and GCP. Technical expertise with Terraform, Docker, Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins and Puppet is preferred
- Strong cloud architecture skills, preferably with an emphasis on digital and integration, designing across multiple applications or domains
- Network Certifications, e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet. Security device certifications: e.g., Check Point, Palo Alto, Cloud network certifications, e.g., Azure, AWS, Google
