IT Manager

An exciting IT Manager job has just become available at one of the satellite communication services companies based in Cyberjaya.

About the IT Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible and accountable for server infrastructure planning and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify new emerging risks on the network, server, and application on the network
• Ensure corporate Office 365 system are always protected with security best practices and configuration to prevent security incident and security configuration error
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory, File Systems and VM infrastructure
• Manage internal network and security systems and ensure IT security best practices are always in practice for new projects, upgrade and service decommission
• Conduct vulnerability assessment for all IT assets on the predefined schedule
• Ensure all IT security related projects are carried out accordingly to management direction
• Participate in patch management, DR exercise and call tree test

To succeed in this IT Manager role, you must be an all-rounded infrastructure SME with strong team leading experience.

Key Requirements:

• Seven years of work experience in IT network and security, systems and network administration
• At least three years of management/supervisory experience
• Hands-on experience in deploying network equipment (firewalls, switches and routers)
• Hands-on experience in supporting core IT security tools e.g. cloud security, AD, DNS, and windows servers and VMware
