IT Engineer (Systems & Networks)

An exciting IT Engineer (Systems & Networks) job has just become available at an established FMCG company in Kuala Lumpur.

About the IT Engineer (Systems & Networks) Role:
In this role, your main responsibility is to manage all IT infrastructure (network, wireless network, fibre optic link, telecommunication link, wide area network and local area network) for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up desktop/laptops, tablets, and smartphones for employees
• Respond to any hardware and software/application issues
• Manage L1 technical support for ZOHO claims system; Oracle,CxC, and SAP S4HANA system
• Troubleshoot servers, computers, IT devices, peripherals, and network equipment issues
• Ensure antivirus/security software or appliances are in place and duly updated
• Oversee IT assets, administration, documentation, expenses, and budgeting
• Be responsible for all IT infrastructure, including WAN/LAN, wireless network, fiber optic link, and telecommunication link, in the organisation
• Oversee backup data, regular system update/patches through desktop central, network/internet traffic monitoring and filtering
• Ensure all hardware, servers, video conferencing and telephony equipment are in good condition for the organisation

To succeed in this IT Engineer (Systems & Networks) job, you must have a strong background in OS systems and office software. Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks is a must.

Key Requirements:

• Degree/diploma holder with at least five years of related work experience
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems
• Familiar with general OS systems and office software. Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks
• Knowledge in VM server is preferred
