An exciting Technical Support Specialist (Night Shift) job opportunity has just become available at one of the leading medical technologies and devices companies based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the Technical Support Specialist (Night Shift) Role:
In this role, you are responsible for providing technical support to internal and external customers resolving technical incident and answer questions regarding proprietary software and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- L1 - L2 technical support to internal and external clients
- Provide 24/7 support for global users
- Respond to calls logged, maintaining call records and providing appropriate and timely communication to users
- Investigate all assigned incidents to root cause so that fixes can be developed as appropriate
- Manage, resolve, and facilitate resolution for internal Platforms
To succeed in this Technical Support Specialist (Night Shift) role, you need to be comfortable with night shift work, able to communicate well with global users and equipped with moderate infrastructure knowledge and skill set.
Key Requirements:
- At least one year experience in service desk / technical support environment
- OS Knowledge
- Server 2008 / Server 2012/Windows 7
- Networking topology (LAN/WAN)
- Databases SQL Server (SQL 2008/2012) is a plus
- Comfortable to work on night shift, five days a week including weekends
- Articulate very well in English language
