ICT Manager

An exciting ICT Manager job opportunity has just become available at one of the leading O&G companies based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the ICT Manager Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of ICT project and services, including the provision of expert technical advice, project support and assistance on issues relating to the ICT Infrastructure, network environment and software distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute actively as a member of the management team, to discuss on ICT strategy, technology trends, corporate priorities and planning of the overall work programme with due regard to the strategic orientations and priorities
• Ensure secure operation of all servers and network through the use of security and encryption tools and through extensive staff training and documentation
• Collaborate with internal staff, clients and management to ensure that the current ICT infrastructure and systems meets the needs of all the users
• Plan and manage the conception, development, implementation and support of ICT solutions to meet the business needs
• Promote excellence within the ICT department through continuous learning and improvement, performance management and professional development of staff
• Advise the management on ICT policies and procedures and best practices. Carry out feasibility studies and draft management reports as necessary
• Ensure prompt and professional responses to user problems and issue with regards to the ICT system. Tracks the completion of Helpdesk Tickets and resolution provided by team members. Create knowledge base for end users and provide training where required
• Work with management and fellow colleagues to regularly evaluate business systems. Reviewing progress and identify opportunities for further system enhancement and areas for new development

To succeed in this ICT Manager role, you are required to be a well-rounded infrastructure specialist with extensive experience in leading projects and team.

Key Requirements:

• At least eight years of related working experience in similar role
• Knowledge and competencies managing ICT infrastructure and ICT software
• Experience in maintenance and servicing of hardware/software, implementation and maintenance of
• Business applications systems, enhancement of computer systems and supervision of daily ICT activities
• PStrong leadership, organisational and project management capabilities
