IT Manager

An exciting IT Manager job opportunity has just become available at one of the leading e-commerce companies based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the IT Manager Role:
In this role, you are responsible for building and leading the infrastructure team/operations to ensure smooth delivery of IT services for the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dive deep into IT operations and have a deep understanding of processes, technology, challenges and gaps
• Ensure the IT team meets the agreed SLA targets and quality
• Monitor and report operational status, deliverables, risks, and issues to ensure goals are accomplished
• Act as the incident manager and manage life cycle of major incidents
• Manage and govern technology risk and controls including cybersecurity
• Drive a continuous improvement mindset and initiatives
• Provide coaching and training to team members
• Lead and direct IT projects as required

To succeed in this role, you must be equipped with strong IT infrastructure management skill set within a financial services (preferably banking) background.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of seven years of experience operating in similar role (lead/manager), preferably in the banking industry
• Knowledge of bank products and services and its support systems is desired
• Well versed in the BNM regulatory framework
• Able to develop policies, standards and procedures
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skill set
• Able to lead, coach and train a team to achieve goals and objectives
