NetSuite Technical Analyst

What you'll do:

As a NetSuite Technical Analyst based in Kuala Lumpur, you will immerse yourself in the day-to-day management of the organisation’s Oracle NetSuite ERP platform. Your responsibilities will span from providing hands-on technical support to configuring complex workflows that streamline business processes. You will work closely with various teams across the business to understand their needs and translate them into practical solutions within the ERP environment. • Provide first-level technical support for NetSuite ERP by handling system configuration, script debugging, and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Manage and document all system change requests, configurations, and enhancements to ensure traceability and compliance with internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements, propose effective solutions, and deliver enhancements within agreed timelines.
• Configure, test, and deploy customisations in NetSuite including workflows, approval flows, roles, permissions, custom forms, saved searches, and dashboards.
• Review and validate system upgrades, patches, and new releases prior to deployment to minimise disruption to business operations.
• Support user training and onboarding by developing comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Maintain system security by managing user access controls, roles, and permissions in line with audit requirements and internal controls.
• Oversee data activities such as imports/exports, saved searches, bulk data management using SuiteScript or other NetSuite tools.
• Monitor overall system performance while ensuring adherence to established development, testing, deployment procedures and best practices.
• Provide technical support for integration projects involving ERP-related data exchanges with third-party systems or applications.

• A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems in technical roles such as development, configuration or support is essential for success in this position.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with NetSuite scripting (SuiteScript 1.0/2.x), workflow (SuiteFlow), and system customisation is highly preferred for this role.
• Proven involvement in multiple phases of ERP implementation including UAT support, go-live activities and post-implementation troubleshooting is required.
• Experience configuring both backend and frontend components of NetSuite ERP as well as familiarity with cloud-based customisation frameworks would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in managing user roles, permissions and access control according to security standards is necessary for maintaining compliance.
• Solid background in data handling activities such as CSV imports/exports, saved searches creation, reporting functions and analytics dashboard setup is important.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills are needed to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and translate non-technical requirements into actionable solutions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities are required to analyse complex issues methodically while delivering timely resolutions within a structured framework.
• The ability to work dependably under minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks or priorities simultaneously is vital for this position.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is required; candidates holding relevant diplomas with proven experience may also be considered. NetSuite Certification (such as SuiteFoundation or SuiteCloud Developer) is desirable but not mandatory.
