What you'll do:

As a Functional Consultant – LS Retail (LS Central), you will play a pivotal role in supporting ERP retail solution implementations for clients across Southeast Asia. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around collaborating with stakeholders to understand their unique business challenges, configuring LS Central modules to optimise retail operations, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. You will be instrumental in preparing thorough test plans for user acceptance testing, delivering hands-on training sessions for end users, and providing reliable post-implementation support.   • Collaborate with clients to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for LS Retail solutions, ensuring every stakeholder’s needs are considered.
  • Configure LS Central modules according to client requirements, maintaining compliance with retail best practices and regional regulations throughout the implementation process.
  • Prepare comprehensive test scripts for user acceptance testing (UAT), validate system functionality, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during deployment phases.
  • Assist in data mapping activities, support migration processes, and facilitate integration between LS Retail systems and third-party platforms such as payment gateways or CRM tools.
  • Deliver engaging end-user training sessions, create clear user guides, and provide ongoing support to encourage adoption of new LS Retail solutions among client teams.
  • Offer post-go-live functional support during system stabilisation periods, resolve operational issues efficiently, and coordinate enhancements with technical teams for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong communication channels with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project alignment and foster trust throughout each phase of the implementation lifecycle.
  • Document all configuration changes, testing outcomes, and support activities thoroughly to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing within the project team.
  • Monitor industry trends in retail technology and proactively suggest improvements or updates to existing LS Central deployments based on evolving client needs.

  • Demonstrated understanding of core retail operations including point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, loyalty programmes, pricing strategies, and reporting functions is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV) environments will enable you to integrate seamlessly into existing project teams.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective stakeholder management and successful delivery of training sessions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams while maintaining a considerate approach towards client needs is important.
  • Experience supporting data migration activities and integrating ERP systems with third-party platforms such as payment gateways or CRM tools is beneficial.
  • Strong documentation skills are required for recording configuration changes, test results, and support actions clearly for future reference.
