Head of IT (FMCG)

What you'll do:

As the Head of IT, you will play a crucial role in planning, project management, and leading implementations. You will identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvements. Your responsibilities will also include providing an infrastructure services vision that leverages IT trends to create business value. You will participate in formulating the company's enterprise architecture and business system plans while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. Additionally, you will conduct product and vendor evaluations to ensure best-in-class technologies are utilised.

• Planning, project management and implementation leadership
• Identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings and service quality improvement
• Providing infrastructure services vision and leveraging IT trends for business value
• Participating in the formulation of the company’s enterprise architecture and business system plan
• Conducting product and vendor evaluations
• Managing strategic vendor partner relationships
• Overseeing complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting
• Ensuring comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations

You have a proven track record in driving business strategies such as automation and analytics, with over 10 years of IT experience under your belt. Your hands-on technical depth enables you to provide direct oversight and problem-solving leadership for complex issue resolution.

• Proven IT project management skills
• Experience coordinating key applications implementation
• Track record in driving business strategies such as automation and analytics
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing IT Team within local & regional scope.
• Experience partnering with other functional leaders to simplify and digitise ways of working
• Functional/integration experience in relevant areas of ERP within similar industry.
• Project Management experience - managed sizeable scale of projects deliverable, managing business stakeholders.
• Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership for complex issue resolution.
• Familiarity with FMCG industry knowledge.
