What you'll do:
As a Microsoft Business Central Engineer, your role will be pivotal in supporting the development and customisation of our client's MSBC ERP system. You will also be required to:
- Develop, customise, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet business requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain extensions using AL language, C/AL, and Business Central APIs.
- Integrate Business Central with third-party applications, including SAP BTP, Microsoft Power Platform, and local country systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MSBC performance, customisations, and integrations.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics using Power BI, Jet Reports, or SQL Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices in coding, security, and system performance optimisation.
- Provide technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Microsoft Business Central Engineer position will bring a wealth of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development. You will be required to have:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development.
- A strong proficiency in AL language, C/AL, and Visual Studio Code for Business Central development.
- Experience with Business Central APIs, OData, and Web Services for integrations.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Azure Functions, Power Automate, and Power Apps is a plus.
- Experience working with SAP BTP integration is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ERP implementation and customisation best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
