SAP FICO Analyst

The SAP FICO Analyst supports and improves financial processes in SAP Finance-Controlling and Project System modules. They deliver solutions, collaborate with business functions, and ensure compliance with procedures for existing and new functionalities.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, configure, document, test, deliver, and support SAP FICO solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Create and draft functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms. Perform system and regression testing, facilitate, and support user acceptance testing and training.
  • Collaborate with SAP Workstreams, Development team, and various IT technical support teams both onshore and offshore to design and deliver comprehensive End-to-End solutions to enhance system performance.
  • Work closely with various business functions and interact with a diverse group of Subject Matter Experts, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to maximize the benefits of IT system investments.
  • Utilize expertise to understand business needs and translate them into process improvements, organizational, and/or technology solutions in line with best practices and standards.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or related business disciplines.
  • Over 6 years of hands-on SAP ECC configuration experience in FICO, with cross-functional skills. Having PS would be an extra advantage.
  • Experience in 1-2 full life cycle implementations within SAP FICO and Project System. Hands-on experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into specifications for IT solution design (from concept to production).
  • Experience in implementing Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows, SAP Authorization, and a good understanding of SAP ABAP.
  • Knowledge of integration with logistics modules such as SD, MM, and PP.
  • Experience in problem/incident management, SLAs – Service Level Agreements, and full lifecycle system support.

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Experience with intercompany processes and familiarity with IDOC configuration.
  • Experience working in a SOX environment and adherence to the change management process.
  • Experience with S/4 HANA.
